Best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for families

Aruba, with its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant culture, offers an ideal destination for family vacations. I’ll take you on a journey through the best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for families that cater to families of all sizes.

Although technically any hotel or resort is suitable for families (well, except adult-only ones), there are factors that make some resorts better than the others. For example some resorts offer free accommodation and food for children under 11-12 years, or have kids clubs, activities tailored to the young ones, kids pools, waterparks and others.

Another important factor is the room size and the number of people that can sleep in it. Noone would like their young children to sleep in another room or have the family separated. So it’s always a great option if the whole family can sleep together.

Last, but not least, are the activities and amenities that are tailored to the whole family, so that you can have fun together. So when selecting the best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for families, I pick the ones that offer the best based on the things I listed and more.

The all-inclusive package includes beach volleyball, paddle surfing, diving, kayaking and other non-motorized water sports. Children aged 4 to 12 will love the complementary kid’s club with curated activities. There’s also a free kids playground and babysitting service (at an additional cost).

There are five restaurants, offering buffet breakfasts, fusion, Italian, and Japanese cuisines, and a poolside steakhouse. Best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only

If you’re seeking a tranquil and luxurious getaway where you can truly unwind, these all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only offer the perfect blend of relaxation and the renowned Caribbean charm. You should know that there aren’t many all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only, so the choice is very limited.

In this section I listed the 2 best adults only resorts in Aruba, each one putting a different focus on your vacation. The first one is a more luxurious all inclusive resort, with a private island and many amenities and experiences geared towards the ultimate relaxation. While on the opposite spectrum is the second resort – Riu Palace.

Riu Palace Antillas targets younger people or the ones who like to party and have fun. With multiple bars, 24/7 free flowing premium alcohol and its own nightclub, that’s the place to stay for a more energetic holiday. That’s not to say that the resort is not suitable for people looking for relaxation – on the contrary – it’s great for that, being right on the beach, with great views and modern rooms and a spa center. But if you came to Aruba to party, I’d pick this one over Renaissance Wind Creek.

Last but not least, even though I mentioned this in the info about the hotel, I will say it again. When booking a room in Renaissance Wind Creek, make sure that you select one in Renaissance Marina Hotel and not Renaissance Ocean Suites. The first one is adults only and the second is family oriented! Without further ado, if you are looking for the best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only, keep on reading and book your unforgettable child-free holiday now!

Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

Nestled in the heart of Aruba’s capital, Oranjestad, the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort offers a prime location. Just steps away from the resort, you can explore the colorful streets, vibrant markets, and local culture of Oranjestad. The resort is also home to Aruba’s only private island. This exclusivity sets it apart, presenting an exceptional experience that remains unmatched among other properties on the island.

You can reach the private island using the free water taxi. There you can enjoy some of the best beaches in Aruba, relax at some of the private cabanas, walk among the flamingo family on Flamingo Beach or have a drink at some of the bars. As usual, there’s a wide range of water sports and a huge modern gym. After a day full of activities, you can relax in the full-service Okeanos spa which offers a range of body treatments and massages (at an additional charge).

Please note that there are rooms in 2 complexes in the resort. One is the adults-only Renaissance Marina Hotel, the other is the family-friendly Renaissance Ocean Suites. So be careful when selecting your room. This all inclusive resort in Aruba for adults only is a bit different in a way because rather than having a single all inclusive offer, it has different packages that you can buy additionally. They could cover meals, drinks, different activities and more.

When it comes to dining, the resort has multiple restaurants and bars on site. But as you are right in the center of Aruba’s capital, you can also explore the local dining scene. Nonetheless, if you are feeling lucky, you can give it a chance at the resort’s own casino. And if shopping is your passion, then head over to Renaissance Mall which is just steps away from the resort and offers worldwide high-end brands.

Among the all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only, Renaissance Wind Creek is undoubtedly the best one. So if you are looking for a luxury adults-only resort, waste no time and book your room now.

Riu Palace Antillas All Inclusive

Hotel Riu Palace Antillas is perfectly situated along the stunning shores of Palm Beach, Aruba. If you are looking at the best all inclusive resorts in Aruba for adults only with the intention to party, that’s the place for you. There are multiple bars, pools and a nightclub at the resort. And the rooms are equipped with a liquor dispenser and a well-stocked mini fridge with all kinds of alcohol.

The rooms themselves are modern and spacious and many of them have a splendid view of the ocean and the beach. But I guess you are more interested in the all inclusive offering. It includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant, but the resort has a few more restaurants where you can dine at your expense. There are also unlimited snacks, local and imported drinks 24/7. During the day and at night the resort is preparing different entertainment programmes.

You also have access to sun beds at the pools and the beach. If sports are your thing, you’d be happy to know that there is stand up paddle surfing, snorkeling equipment, gym and kayaking included in the offer. An interesting bonus is the 1 introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool, but you’d have to pay for more lessons.

This all inclusive resort in Aruba for adults only also offers free entry to the casino, but the drinks there are not included. And if you get tired of all the partying, you can relax in the spa center – keep in mind that it’s not included in your all inclusive.

Hotels in Aruba on the beach

So it makes perfect sense to book some of the hotels in Aruba on the beach for your dream holiday. But with so many hotels and resorts in Aruba, most of which are on the beach, it’s difficult to make a choice.

A bad hotel experience can ruin your vacation. So I did an extensive research and selected several resorts and hotels in Aruba on the beach that guarantee an unforgettable experience. Choose your preferred one and book your dream holiday now!

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is a hidden paradise on the shores of Eagle Beach, Aruba. With its prime beachfront location, you can step from your room onto the soft sands of one of the Caribbean’s finest beaches. Enjoy the unique Dutch colonial architecture of the resort, adorned with vibrant colors and inviting courtyards.

The resort was built in 1989 and since then has been owned by the same family. With only 72 rooms, you are guaranteed to get that personal touch and attention. All rooms have kitchens and amenities like in-room safe, free WiFi, air conditioning and are furnished in rustic furniture. Some rooms are up to 110m2 / 1113 ft2 and can accommodate the whole family.  Even if the hotel is not among the all inclusive resorts in Aruba for families, it’s a great option for those looking for hotels in Aruba on the beach for families.

The hotel has a few bars and restaurants, one of which is among the only 5 restaurants on the island that offers authentic toes-in-the-sand dining experience. As a guest you can also enjoy free pool and beach lounge chairs, beach towels, bike rentals, dry cleaning and more. Kids can enjoy the kids pool while the concierge can help you arrange a romantic dinner on the beach.

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

Located on the pristine Palm Beach in Aruba, the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is one of the best hotels in Aruba on the beach. The resort’s unparalleled beachfront location allows you to step directly from your room onto the soft white sands, offering an oasis of relaxation and luxury.

A unique feature of Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is their private Tradewinds Club. If you book a club room, you’ll be entitled to a long list of benefits. Some of them are access to a private lounge with complimentary snacks and light meals 5 times a day + premium open bar from 06:00 PM – 09:00 PM, a private cabana by the adult-only pool & bar and a private section of the beach. Not to mention that the club rooms are some of the best in the resort. A true luxury experience for a delightful holiday.

In addition to the club, all guests have access to many activities and events like many workout classes (pilates, water aerobics, yoga, weight training), bingo, homemade cosmetics classes and more. The resort also features multiple pools (including kids pool), tennis courts, gym, full-service spa (offering face and body procedures) and multiple restaurants and bars.

My favorite restaurant is Atardi, serving seafood with tables directly on the white sand. Last but not least, if you feel luck is on your side, you can visit the resort’s casino with over 26 tables and 500+ slot machines.

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino

Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino is right on the famous Palm Beach. The resort’s prime location allows you to easily transition from your room to the soft sands and inviting waters of the Caribbean Sea. When it comes to dining and drinking, you can find 2 restaurants, pool and beach bars, several lounges, a coffee shop and more.

All rooms in Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino have been recently remodeled in calming Caribbean colors, handcrafted furniture and plush bedding. All the rooms offer the usual modern amenities like free WiFi, 65” TV, iron & ironing board, coffee machine, mini fridge etc. Many of the rooms offer spectacular views of the ocean and are spacious enough to accommodate the whole family.

While staying in this hotel in Aruba on the beach, you won’t get bored. Other than relaxing by any of the pools or the beach, you can play many water sports or tennis, take part in yoga, meditation and other wellness classes or train in the gym.

There are also mixology and cooking courses as well as aloe scrub making experience. For the ultimate rejuvenation, visit the full service spa and for some thrilling moments – the Hyatt Regency Casino. Waste no time and book one of the best hotels in Aruba on the beach now!

Where to stay in Aruba

Aruba may be a relatively small nation with an area of ~180km2 / 70mi2, but it still offers a range of areas to stay. For some people, the answer to the question “Where to stay in Aruba” boils down to selecting the hotel they like the most, regardless of the area. Other people may look for specific experiences. So picking where to stay in Aruba is more important than choosing the trendiest all-inclusive resort in Aruba.

For those seeking a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, Palm Beach is an excellent choice. This area is home to some of the island’s most luxurious all-inclusive resorts. It offers direct access to the stunning white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters. Palm Beach is also known for its lively nightlife, high-end restaurants, and exciting water sports. That makes it an ideal pick for travelers looking for both relaxation and entertainment.

If you prefer a more tranquil and serene setting, Eagle Beach is the perfect spot. This area is known for its uncrowded, wide stretches of powdery sand. Eagle Beach is dotted with low-rise resorts and boutique hotels. At the same time guests are still close to the island’s attractions and activities.

For a taste of authentic Aruban culture and history, the capital city of Oranjestad is a top choice. As the island’s cultural hub, this area offers charming colonial architecture, vibrant local markets, and an array of dining options that feature traditional Aruban cuisine.

Best time to visit Aruba

The average temperature throughout the year ranges from 28°C to 32°C (82°F to 89°F). This makes Aruba a great place for beach lovers all year-around. Despite that, the best time to visit Aruba is between April and August. This is when the weather is perfect and the prices are not that high. In the period January to March the weather is also great, but prices soar. That’s because most people prefer to escape the cold winter in this tropical paradise.

If you go to Aruba between September and December, try to pick dates closer to September. There are fewer tourists and less wind at that time. People usually say that this is not the best time to visit Aruba, because that’s the “rainy season”. But Aruba doesn’t have a rainy season as they do in south-east Asia. This is just the period with the highest precipitation of the year. Nevertheless most days are actually rain-free.

It’s worth mentioning that Aruba is far outside the hurricane belt and the storms. Sometimes it’s possible to experience the influence of the tropical weather and have a rain shower or two. But even then, it rains for a short period of the day, leaving you with plenty of time to enjoy the sun. All in all, the best time to visit Aruba is between April and August, but you can always pick what suits you best and not worry about the weather.
